The University of Edinburgh and the Natural History Museum are using, as part of the 'Insect Pollinators Initiative', the Micronic 4.00ml tube for storing the larger insects in the collection.

Rutgers University Cell & DNA Repository selected Micronic 0.75ml and 1.40ml tubes together with colored TPE caps to provide high integrity, long-term storage of samples at -80°C.
