Micronic is proud to launch its new 2.00ml storage tube that uniquely combines higher sample storage capacity and absolute sample traceability in an industry-standard 96-tube rack format (SBS footprint). Not only does this enhance productivity because of the ability to load with standard 8- or 12-channel pipettes, but it also enables simple integration with automated liquid handling platforms.

For organizations in the life sciences industry, such as biobanks or biotechnology and pharmaceutical research companies - assured high integrity storage and ease of handling of each sample is critical. The new Micronic 2.00ml storage tube therefore uses an alphanumeric or unique 2D Data-Matrix code laser encrypted on the tube bottom to enable easy identification and traceable storage of samples.

Like all other Micronic tubes, the 2.00ml screw cap tube can be sealed with both pushcaps and screw caps. The net working volume when used with a pushcap is 1.70ml or 1.60ml when used with a screw cap. For frozen samples (down to -20°C), the net working volume is 1.50ml . The tubes have an inner U-bottom and are manufactured of the highest-purity polypropylene that resists many organic solvents.

The 2.00ml storage tubes are standard available in bulk and in a Roborack-96, and as an option precapped with TPE push caps or screw caps.
