Micronic proudly launches the new generation Univo Electric Decapper DC480. Targeting the ever-growing requirement for higher sample throughput, the decapper enables labs tasked with opening multiple sample storage tubes to achieve significant productivity gains. Due to its new 'blue-white' design, the Univo Electric Decapper DC480 perfectly fits the Micronic line of sample handling equipment.

The Univo Electric Decapper has an improved user interface, which enables the user to select any rack to decap, without using different adapters for different tubes sizes / brands. The decapper is therefore not only compatible with all Micronic tubes (up to 1.40ml), but also with tubes and caps of other brands.

The Univo Electric Decapper is easy to install and operate, and removes the pushcaps from a (partial) full 96-tube storage rack. Operation is safe and user-friendly – simply place a rack of capped tubes onto the access tray, push the start button and the decapper will gently remove all the caps in one action. The internal cap grippers are developed in such a way that cross-contamination is minimized.
